About William
William started out as a musician who began to study the guitar at age 9. Later, throughout his high-school years, he taught guitar in various music stores in the Windsor Ontario Canada area. In the 70's, back when 'Classic Rock' was called 'Top 40', William was the lead guitarist in a Canadian cover band called 'Back Street'.
In 1985, While working for IBM as a main-frame technician in Tampa Florida, William started his own software company which specialized in Point-Of-Sale systems and subsequently moved back to Windsor to market his product in Canada.
In 2013 William sold the rights of his "The PARTner" program to a California based company, of which sale involved a move to the Southern California to work with them as a consultant.
William muddled around playing guitar in a few band entities in California, but he knew that good guitar players were abundant, however good sound guys were not. Other musicians liked the sound of William's bands and would hire him to do sound for them as well. Eventually William built up his inventory of sound gear and became known as "William The Sound Guy".
